Kannada Actress Prakruthi Gowda Exclusive Interview.
To start about myself, I am Prakruthi Gowda from Bengaluru. I was one naughty kid when I was small, first person to be thrown out of the class would be me because anytime i use fight with people. I was just like a Lady Rowdy in School and College. I have completed my BBM from Christ College . I worked in Convergys and Accenture .
About my family I am the only Daughter and I have a brother who is doing his engineering. Dad is a Govt Employee, he was a Depow Manager in KSRTC now retired, and mom is a House wife. I am from one of the dignified typical Gowda family.
My interest I love travelling, I keep humming songs I love singing, best cook in kitchen, I love reading book, making friends, and I love racing bikes n cars. I m a big fuddy and craze about imported bikes and cars.
Acting was just my passion from childhood which just happened in life. I always dreamt to be an actress which become true on last October. I ad gone to watch Vamshi movie in PVR . Adarsh one of the Directors spotted me and asked would I be interested in acting. Since it was an dream to act I just grabbed the opportunity of acting in his movie. I was really lucky because he dint see my photos , my acting nothing I was just given the date for the shoot, I went faced the camera, from the first acted was so excited and I got the confidence that I can act. People appreciated my work in the movie. My first movie was Hushaar its an Horror movie directed by Adarsh. I have played one negative character which is a complete different role. After which things were different. I dint knew anyone in the industry. I was counting stars in the sky . Later I got the offer for the movie Jeeva with Prajwal Devraj nd Rutva and I acted as a comedian in that. I love that character personally I had lot of importance. Very nice team to work with and now waiting for the movie release next month. The comedy is created in a different way were there is importance for a comedian to perform .
Later i acted in Olave Vismaya as a comedian and now acting in Sri Hari . I m gonna act in Tamil and Telugu movies. Gonna act with Vadi vellu as his pair in a movie called Vallkhai . I waana be different from others. I wanna be Comedian and Willian and do different performance oriented roles . I love to do something to my society.
I always stick on to these words I cant do great things but I can do small things in a great way .
You have appeared in so many Kannada movies shows. How is your experience?
It is my pleasure working in Kannada movies. Acting was just my Passion from childhood which I have taken it as profession now. So far I have acted in Four Movies. Very happy and there is long way to go in the industry. To be successful in any profession it takes time. I am working hard, dedicated myself completely to acting. Acting is just my God.
How was it working with Pooja Gandhi in Sri Hari?
Pooja is very sweet, dedicated artist I like her.
Do you still work in Accenture? If yes how do you manage your shooting schedule with work?
I am not going to work as I am not able to manage dual professions I am just concentrating only on acting now.
Who is your idol in acting.
I like Rajnikanth and Kalpana and in comedy I like Rangayana Raghu
Which is your favorite character and why?
I like my character in Jeeva , I have acted as a Comedian in this movie. Making someone laugh is a difficult job but I love doing it. I have lot of importance in the movie as hero and heroine so I love it personally.
Who is your favorite co star ?
I am still a beginner so I have not worked wit lot of people but I really loved acting with Ananth Nag in Olave Vismaya.
Are you looking forward to work in Bollywood movies?
I am an artist, were ever i have an opportunity I will do it.
Which are your forthcoming movies?
My forthcoming movies are Hushaar, Jeeva , Olave Vismaya and Sri Hari. I am gonna act in Tamil with Vadi Vellu in a movie called Valkhai. I am acting in two telugu movies. too.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free I do lot of things I am a big faddy and I love to eat . I hang out with my friends in Forum and coffee day. I love cooking, dancing, singing and sleeping. I am in to Social Work for last 5 years working as an Volunteer in an Organization called Center for Social Action. So in my free time I will be with childrens. I also meet HIV patients , cancer patients in Kidwai etc etc.
The best thing about yourself
The best thing about me is I am very friendly. I can get along with anyone, I can make a stone to speak to me. If someone is angry or upset just a smile on my face makes them smile. The best features about me is my eyes and my smile .
The worst thing about you
Oh you caught me here, the worst thing about me is I am very short tempered. I won’t get angry but if I get angry, I don’t know what will happen.
