Akshay Kumar reduced his price from 30 to 20 crore due to recession and also the failure of Kambakht Ishq. Kambakht Ishq should also be added to the list of his flop movies. Its difficult to understand what made Akshay to act in this movie with such a cheap dialouges, weak script and obsolete Anu Malik music.This movie is a major disoppointment to him and his fans. He didn’t see any major hit movie after Bhool Bhulaiyya. His recent movies like Tashan, Chandni Chowk to China and 8 x 10 Tasveer are amongst the top flop movies of this year. So it seems he came up with the right decision to lower his price this time. He has high hopes with his next upcoming movie Blue which is said be 100 crore budgeted with Sanjay Dutt, Katrina Kaif, Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan written by American writers Joshua Lurie and Bryan M. Sullivan. Oscar award winner A. R. Rahman is composing the music for the film and Kylie Minogue will sing two songs with Sonu Nigam for this movie. The next hope is De Dana Dan with Hera Pheri team which is all set to release by November this year..
